Not content to do just one good deed, I am happy to report that we have managed to help two organisations at the same time!
First of all, though, a bit of background.
The Pied Piper Trust runs the charity the Pied Piper Appeal. Founded in 1992, its aim is to make a real difference to the lives of sick and disabled children throughout Gloucestershire. They do this by finding practical and medical equipment to enhance the care and treatment of those children.
The Paternoster School in Cirencester is a state special school for boys and girls aged 2 to 17. Their aim is to provide flexible, individual programmes tailored to the needs of each of their students and to support them to improve their self-confidence and independence to allow them to lead full and active lives in the community.
The school needed a new people carrier and the Pied Piper Trust together with the Friends of Paternoster School raised sufficient funds for one between them.
So where do Severn Signs come in? I am pleased to say that we have provided the sign writing for the vehicle free of charge.
In the photo you see the team and I with the completed sign written people carrier.
